Overview
How-to Plan Data is a practical course of all the Data Architecture aspects contained in the DMBOK V2 in detail, providing techniques for all the activities and templates for all the deliverables and in some cases the inputs.
Data Architecture is defined as identifying the data needs of the enterprise (regardless of structure) and designing and maintaining the master blueprints to meet those needs. It includes using master blueprints to guide data integration, control data assets, and align data investments with business strategy.
Participants will develop deliverables such as a data model, data value chain and data flow diagram. Day 5 is devoted to a case study where all knowledge obtained is practised and reinforced.
